The only action needed is to download and launch the app. All technical details, coordination of work and targets selection are managed by cyber defence volunteers.
You don't need to care the program in any way, just open it for a whole day and relax. Leave the default settings. It is more efficient to run only one window of the app, you do not need to open several in parallel.

The application is open-sourced that means all implementation details are open and available to publicity, everyone can look at it. Therefore it’s basically impossible to put malicious code in there, without smart people catching wind of it.
